Tune to rainbow
Hello, it's me again. Authenticity, play the word. Today, I find my inspiration in what it's called Random Hacks of Kindness, Hacking for Humanity, they say. Innovation to make the world a better place. Found an anthem and built a poem upon. Wishing upon a star I make changes that might be visible around me.

About The idea

"If it's simple simple, it's boring. We try for the idea that is so simple that it will make you think and rethink." (Saul Bass, the man who made film titles into stars)
Lovable detail: inserting a graffiti heart with the initials of him and his lover in the closing credits of "West Side Story".

Astro Boy

So I find the Digital Cat, a Brit-Jap ”mashable" manga of modern future Japan. Mixture flavor British satirists tradition and an original story by Natsume Soseki, first published in serialized form between 1905 - 06.
Quick fact about manga it is mentioned when you download it (in limited edition still) here: have you had a crossing thought, "it is influenced by American popular culture and in its contemporary form emerged during the years of the occupation, after the second World War, but the antecedents will be traced back centuries to wartime, propaganda posters, woodblock prints, or ancient scroll drawings." It worths mention, that of course is one view about manga's history.
That from Reimagining Japan, global leaders and experts' insights edited by McKinsey&Company, and on their website, more contributions are expected through a student essay contest.
And then the Digital Cat says: "Humans made everything dark, not technology. I'm a genuine technological marvel. I'm my master's ears, eyes and brain."
Am I never shutting down until blue fatal error? By all means let me restart at this moment.
And though Digital Cat is fun, this corporate book will speak in its own language but the history will follow its own course in that beautiful land of people.

Kindness poem
Can kindness stop an army? Can kindness stem a flood of tears? Can kindness stop a fever? Can kindness bring happiness near?
What can kindness do?
Can we flood into the streets/ And make our actions say /The world is going to change/And it's going to start today.
What can kindness do?
Can humankind be expected /To say we're all connected? /Can it be our only hope? /Can it be our only hope? /Can humankind...be both?
Discovering those words through this inspiring video.

Spirited Away
Antaeus was a half giant, son of Poseidon and Gaia. He would remain strong and fortified as long as he was touching the ground so each time he was defeated and put down he would stand up and come back to the fight.

The nouvelle Utopia
Internet and books, they call it the victory of the first, while their army is divided in some Never-Betters, the Better-Nevers, and the Ever-Wasers.
The Never-Betters believe that we’re on the brink of a new utopia, where information will be free and democratic, news will be made from the bottom up, love will reign, and cookies will bake themselves.
The Better-Nevers think that we would have been better off if the whole thing had never happened. If you still have that private space of books and magazines, some morning when you're allowed to be late of anything and only slowly drinking coffee, keep it. Keep it that way. In some years, it will be an old habit, a ritual of the fairy tales.
The Ever-Wasers insist that at any moment in modernity something like this is going on. Some new kind of organization and structure of our lives is always thrilling to some and chilling to others. Well, what can one say, where's one hopes, one's head, what about one's heart? What seems more like home nowadays talking about reading lifestyle? Talking about it, what is it more, the story or the Information.
To extend, all this in this great utopic New Yorker article right here.

And the ocean grew from a sunflower seed

"Standing before it, we look out over an immeasurable, fathomless grey sea.
But the moment when you step on it, your relationship to what lies beneath your feet changes. Each crunching footstep merely displaces a thin layer at the top of the pile. Our weight leaves no impression on the millions and millions of seeds beneath our feet."

Yamanote loop
Car free day yesterday. Two wheels versus subway loop? S-ar putea sa-ti ia trei zile pe bicicleta fata de o ora metrou - diaries from Tokyo aici - but get some sunscreen and start building pedaling muscles. You'll make smile of the day.

the little thing that makes magic
Garance Doré scrie despre Scott Schuman, that would be The Sartorialist. And of course, it's de l'amour. She's French, il est Americain.

Social media honeymoon - perspectives. Re:seminar "ProBlogging"

The world is a stage fara doar si poate.
Prin urmare, I'm no pro inside "the web building", am venit la eveniment in postura de observator, urmarind mediul online indeaproape din perspectiva comunicator. In plus eficient.
This is dangerous.
”The TMZ Beats CNN Pile On” is not a story about old being beaten by new. It’s several issues twisted together. If this is about speed vs. credibility, new media will usually win speed and mainstream media will usually win in credibility. But more importantly, if mainstream media sacrifices their credibility, they have nothing left."
And here-both sides might find it interesting: the Web 3.0 presentation: How to do social media right in 2009. Refresh the approach and your vision. "Chill out and get real".
Ilustratia provine de aici.

bring me back the nihon-jin flavor

Cel mai probabil - unlike other places in the world, in metrourile din Tokyo apare Brad Pitt pe toti peretii vorbind la telefon. Just like that. More details: McDonalds Japan's dip into no-brand marketing comes as quite a shock.
